I am a visually impaired|partially sighted user of the iPhone. It is for this reason I use voiceover, one of the accessibility features included in the ios.

I downloaded dijit after reading about it on Twitter. The concept and functionality of the app are excellent but, some areas are not accessible. After adding a remote to test the app. I noticed that the majority of the buttons are not recognised by voiceover, and are therefore inaccessible.

Has anyone here experienced the above problem? If so, is there any type of work around or has this already been brought to the attention of the Dijit team?

Thanks for the feedback. I just spent a little time using the app in Voiceover mode and did notice that some of the remote buttons don't have voice labels. Some of the icons could have more descriptive hints as well.

I'll pass your comments along to the product team and see how this experience can be improved in a future version of the app.

Hi,

You will see an improvement in this area (more labels and hints when using voice over) with the next release of the app.

Feel free to let us know how else we can make the app more accessible.
