Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2. The setup went great, and I love the combo; however like a post here, when I exit the application and try to go back in, the device can not connect to the beacon. I have to go through the complete repairing again. I have updated to the latest software and firmware.
Any advice?
Thanks
-Guy

Hi Guy. To clarify, are you exiting the app by the Menu->Exit Dijit option or just by switching to another app/the home screen? Also, do you have the "Beacon Power Save" mode option enabled in the Dijit settings?

We're looking into this. In the meantime, I've heard that turning Bluetooth off and on or possibly just tapping the Beacon is sufficient to reconnect instead of having to go through the whole repairing process. Let us know your results, as it will help us to track this down.

Hi I am new to this forum and hopefully this is posted in the correct place

i to am having no luck connecting beacon to Samsung galaxy s2

Blutooth pairs with phone and beacon  with no problem but wont connect, I have downloaded griffins utility and upgraded to latest firmware with no problem so the phone detects the beacon via the utility but wont connect with Dijit.

I have un-paired re-paired several times , have also uninstalled and reinstalled Dijit

Beacon details

Model P3771

Hardware version 0.0.4

Firmware Version 1.1.2

Samsung galaxy S2

Model GT-19100T

Android Version 4.0.3

any help would be appreciated I love the idea of this app, hope reality lives up to expectations

I have exactly the same configuration (Galaxy s2 Android 4.0.3, Beacon firmware updated to 1.1.2) and problem. I've paired OK, but can't get connected using the dijit app. I know the Bluetooth interface between the S2 and Beacon is working because I can connect using the Griffen Tools Beacon Utility app. Have you got a fix yet? I notice you posted your comment 6 months ago, so if you haven't fixed it yet, then I don't suppose there's any hope! I have sent a mail into the Griffen Support team and waiting an answer!

My HTC Amaze pairs and connects without a problem but my girlfriends Samsung Galaxy SII will only pair and never forms a connection.
